Even faith-based believers in the Bush team, should be puzzled by now. In light of vivid and deadly evidence to the contrary, Mr. Bush may have to move away from his assertion that the SURGE(too little, too late) caused the quiet in Iraq.

Did the Bush team start to believe its own rhetoric about the SURGE(too little, too late)? Were there Iraqi leaders who believed the SURGE(too little, too late) was the powerful force for “QUIET” in Iraq?

It wasn’t the SURGE(too little, too late) that was mainly responsible for Iraqi’s quiet. It was the ceasefire of Iraqi Shia cleric Moqtada Sadr’s militia that made the Iraqi quiet what it was. It may have looked like Mr. Bush could take credit. Mr. Bush, according to a White House spokeswoman, stands on principle and delivers results. She did not say whose results he might deliver.

Could it have been Sadr’s militia results delivered as his own?

The Bush team will likely mute the SURGE’s(too little, too late) impact on Iraqi quiet. The SURGE’s(too little, too late) assertion will likely go the way of the yellowcake assertion – stashed away in a Pandora’s box or perhaps placed in a time capsule destined for outer space.
